Biotech Academy

Biotech Academy is an organisation focused on promoting the field of Biotechnology to elementary and high school students. We develop internet-based educational projects on biotechnological topics of current interest. The projects allow the students to understand and test how the theory taught in the school subjects Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics are applied practically in companies and at research institutions. The projects are developed by students at DTU and University of Copenhagen in collaboration with biotechnological companies. Consequently the projects treat current problems that researchers and industries are focused on at the moment
