Bird believes that fashion is fun. We support the best emerging and established designers with a focus on locally and sustainably produced independent collections. We love color, we love prints and while we are always interested in trends, we dont believe in following any fashion rules. We think an outfit is more interesting when it enhances what the wearer has to say. Bird is about being open, staying curious and always willing to try something new. Bird has sustained a steady growth throughout Brooklyn, supported by the innovative designs of Norwegian architect Ole Sondresen. In 2006, Bird expanded to Cobble Hill with a store front on Smith Street, followed by the relocation of the original Park Slope store to its current home on 5th Avenue. In 2009, Bird opened its flagship location in Williamsburg.
