We belong to K. K. Birla Group which is among the Top 20 Business Houses in India. Besides Textiles, the group has strong presence in other industries like fertilizers, sugar, media, cement, shipping, engineering, etc. Our spinning unit is the groups third (latest) and the most modern spinning unit - Birla Textile Mills. This, in fact, is among the latest spinning units in India with yarn quality well accepted in India and Overseas. The spinning unit is located in North of India near the city Chandigarh whereas the Export Marketing office is in Mumbai. For your information, the Synthetic spun yarn section (about 40,300 spindles currently) of Birla Textile Mills started commercial production in May 2000 and the 100% Cotton spinning section (about 43,000 spindles currently) started commercial production in end 2006 - so, the plant is quite new.
