Bishop Wordsworths Grammar School

Bishop Wordsworths School is a Church of England grammar school in Salisbury, Wiltshire for students aged 11 to 18. The school is regularly amongst the top-performing schools in England, and in 2010 was the top school performer for the English Baccalaureate. Bishops enjoys a hard earned reputation as one of the finest schools in the country. The school is well known for its traditions of excellence, its strong links with the Church of England and the Cathedral, and its sense of pride in the school community. The school has Language College Status, and a second specialism in Science, both of which have further enhanced both facilities and quality of provision, and BWS also became an Academy School in March 2011. We have around 1200 pupils across the school, about 400 of whom are in the Sixth Form.
