How we came to be Biz Radio In 1992, Dan and Elisea Frishberg realized conflicts of interest worked for nobody. They wanted to be able to pass on Dans lifetime of knowledge, but the whole structure of commissions and sales put the student and the teacher on opposite teams. They knew that many brokers just use advisory services as a marketing gimmick to facilitate their commissions and brokerage, continuing to use their position of trust to represent the interests of the sellers. But Dan and Elisea pioneered a completely different concept. They eliminated 100% of commissions from the business. Dan decided to work only on the buyers side, never on the sellers side.
