The design of BJS Czech plant will catch your eye when passing exit 90 closed to Humpolec on the highway connecting Prague and Brno. The graffiti designed building belongs to largest furniture producer in Czechia. HISTORY of the group started in 1917, when small furniture company Broderna Johansson Sangfabrik, later BJS, was established in Smalandsstenar, Sweden. The relocation of the company to Czech Republic started in 2005 due to interesting combination of woodworking industry tradition, local material resources and availability of skilled staff. The first production started already in 2006. The first customer was IKEA, the traditional partner of BJS. PRODUCTS from BJS are produced for IKEA the largest furniture retailer worldwide and are distributed globally to Asia, Europe, USA and to Canada.
