In November 1999, Black Hawk Country Club (then known as The Houstonian Golf & Country Club) made its debut alongside Shadow Hawk Golf Club on 450 pristine acres that once boasted a serene pecan orchard and natural fed lake. Originally founded by The Redstone Companies, The Houstonian Golf & Country Club opened as a resort amenity to members and guests of The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa. In 2001, The Houstonian Golf & Country Club introduced its private membership offering and has successfully grown into one of Houstons top private country clubs and golf destinations. Black Hawk Country Club takes great pride in its fine amenities and has gone through several capital improvements and expansions with the most recent completed in 2008.
