By preparing a developmentally appropriate environment, Blessed Beginnings provides a setting where children feel important and successful. Our mission emphasizes the value of play in the development of young children. By planning and implementing learning experiences, children gain skills and attitudes that support their development. The class schedule allows for teacher directed and child initiated experiences in the areas of art, dramatic play, music, literacy, science, and sensory experiences. Children are able to make decisions and solve problems with the support of caring teachers. The program is designed to meet and enhance the development of the whole child: physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and spiritually. Blessed Beginnings Preschool is located inside New Song Community Church of Aurora, Illinois and is administered by a volunteer Board of Directors.
