Blue Bird Shoes

Created by Michelle Lima and Paula Proushan, Blue Bird add a stylish touch - the Brazilian je ne sais quoi - to any feet waiting to be adorned. The label was born out of a desire to create a flawless and democratic shoe. Both founders had plenty fashion and footwear in their DNA: Michelle had worked in the shoe industry in Brazil and abroad since she was 17, under renowned brands like Alexandre Birman and Forum, while Paula had made a career in the international fashion industry, working for the likes of Vera Wang. When they were introduced to each other, they decided it was time they created their own venture together. Joining their impeccable taste to years of expertise, Michelle and Paula betted on the loafer - a classic shoe that is comfortable, elegant and shows just the right amount of feet.
