Blue Valley Lutheran Homes Society, Inc., was established in 1948 as a social ministry organization by area Lutheran congregations when they saw the vital need for long-term nursing home care in the vicinity of Thayer, Fillmore, Jefferson, Nuckolls, and Clay Counties in Nebraska. Today, 17 of those churches remain as sponsors of our non-profit. BVLH has 180 full and part-time employees from 23 different area communities and is the second largest employer in Thayer County, Nebraska.
