Bobs Pools was established in 1974 by a 21-year-old Robert Wendorf when he opened his own business in Casselberry to provide the Central Florida area with a reliable pool construction firm. Bob followed his dream and over time turned Bobs Pools into a company highly sought after by local home builders, as they trusted him to work not only on residential projects, but commercial projects, as well. Throughout the years, Bobs Pools became a family affair, with Bob passing the reigns down to his son, Eric. Eric established his own screen business in 2005 with the intention of combining both his and Bobs Pools together in 2006, offering Central Florida a company that could design and build the complete backyard experience. In 2007, Bobs Pools became known as Bobs Pools & Screens the first pool builder in town to open their own screen company.
