Boston University Mars Rover

Boston University Mars Rover is a student-run organization established in 2018 where we designed an innovative Mars exploration rover from scratch to compete in the annual University Rover Challenge. The competition is held on Mars Desert Research Station with over 100 teams representing over twelve countries worldwide. Our club aims to promote hands-on engineering to future engineers, providing them a taste of real-world industry experience they do not encounter in a lecture hall. Our team consists of 8 Sub-Teams: Mobility Chassis Hardware, Robotics Arms Hardware, Robotic Arms Software, Autonomous Navigation, Communications Software, Power Systems, Life Detection, and Marketing.
