Bothra group was founded by Mr. R.C Bothra when he acquired Sarat Chatterjee & Co (Visakhapatnam) Pvt. Ltd. in 1977 with a dream of reforming the traditional ship stevedoring services with an efficient mechanized system. Mechanized cargo handling equipment were hired and put into operations in Visakhapatnam port. Based on our success in the Visakhapatnam the mechanized cargo handling operations were started on other major ports.
