Owned and operated by the Allan family of Calgary from the very start, our story begins with the grand opening of Buzzards way back in 1980 as a wine bar. Five years later we were having so much fun that we expanded and opened Bottlescrew Bills Pub in the space adjacent to the restaurant. In the 90s and 2000s Buzzards adopted a Cowboy Cuisine theme, focusing on rustic decor (wagon wheel chandeliers, anyone?) and downhome country cookin.
