Bowls Scotland

Bowls Scotland is the national governing body for the sport of lawn bowls in Scotland. As the third largest national governing body of sport in Scotland, Bowls Scotland was formed in 2010 after the Scottish Bowling Association and the Scottish Womens Bowling Association voted to unify. Our vision: to be Scotlands local sport of choice; modern, successful and accessible to all. Bowls Scotland currently has 834 member clubs and nearly 50,000 members. In order to achieve our vision, we have a dedicated organisation made up of a board, volunteers and staff who work to not only deliver our sport to our current members but also actively promote our sport and encourage more people to get involved. The Team Scotland lawn bowlers at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games brought home gold and provided an excellent platform for us to build upon.
