BRAC University Economics Club (BUEC)

BRAC University Economics Club (BUEC) with the aim to instil both academic excellence and providing young economists of tomorrow, with the opportunity to build their careers in the research sector as well as in the private and public sectors while motivating and guiding them to pursue postgraduate studies. To date, BUEC has organized many successful events inside BRAC University. From organizing one of the largest public policy competition, Econpodium 1.0, aimed in creating a platform where the youth could voice out their opinion to create a positive change in Bangladesh regarding the housing crisis to conducting numerous seminars and webinars on important economic problems, discourse on the annual budget, career prospects and panel discussions with renowned economists of Bangladesh.
