Constructed in the 1940s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre is one of the worlds few surviving examples of early twentieth-century theatre. The Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre Association, a 501 (c)(3) organization incorporated in 2000, manages programming, operations, and preservation of the theatre.
