Brave Starts

We help people figure out and plan what they want to do next in the world of work. We do this by taking people through a structured series of workshops and giving them access to an amazing network of professionals with whom to discuss options. We have a member resources page too with access to a wide range of content from videos from employers wanting to recruit them to exercises to complete to articles they can read. We hold ourselves to a high standard: we steer clear of inspirational quotes or platitudes. Our members expect rigour and intellectual stimulation. We are a growing not-for-profit community: most of our members work full time. The split is 60% female 40% male. We reject calls to hide age - it is afterall one of our greatest assets and we teach our members the valye of age and how to use it in an ageist market. All of our fees support the development and enablement of our work. We are very much impact based and prize purpose over profit
