Breadline Africa

We are dedicated to uplifting Southern Africas children through educational infrastructure. Established in 1993, Breadline Africa is a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping poor and vulnerable people uplift themselves - breaking the cycle of poverty in Southern Africa. We believe that when a childs imagination is unlocked, possibilities are opened, allowing them to choose a path for their own future. Breadline Africa enables this journey by providing infrastructure, primarily by converting shipping containers into early childhood development classrooms, libraries, kitchens and toilets. Breadline Africa is registered as a non-profit organisation and based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are also registered as a charity in the UK, with offices in the United Kingdom and Ireland. We have a 100% BEEE beneficiary base and individual donors, as well as corporate donors, qualify for a Section 18 Tax exception when making donations to Breadline Africa.
