Brightshores Health System Owen Sound Foundation

The Foundation exists to provide exceptional local healthcare by supporting Brightshores Health System. Donations to the foundation are used to purchase new equipment, upgrade facilities and assist staff with continuing education. The Foundation was originally established in 1982 as the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre Foundation to equip a new regional hospital that would replace the 93 year old Owen Sound General and Marine Hospital. Volunteers mounted a campaign across Grey and Bruce counties, raising over $16 million in cash and pledges for the project!
