A unique climbing and fitness experience, Brooklyn Boulders (BKB) opened its doors in 2009, in the old Daily News Garage in Brooklyn, NY. With facilities now nestled in the hearts of New York, Boston and Chicago, BKB combines play, work and life, by creating and fostering a diverse community of climbers, creatives, artists, fitness enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs, with the aim of Becoming Superhuman Together. Whether interpreted literally (massive rocks, weirdly yet creatively crafted in Brooklyn-style), figuratively (enabling people to defy gravity, to climb without ropes...to be free), or a mixture of both, our name, Brooklyn Boulders, is all for the observer to interpret and define for themselves.
