Brown Distributing Company was founded in 1962 by J. Dan Brown. Mr. Brown started his company with three trucks, four employees, and three brands of beer. The company has grown to become the Austin market leader in the beer industry, employing around 400 people, and carrying a wide variety of beer and non-alcohol beverages.
