BU Finance & Investment Club

The Boston University Finance and Investment Club (BUFC) is a student-run $1.1M AUM long-only equity portfolio designed to provide students with hands-on finance, equity analysis, and portfolio management experience. It serves as an experiential and practical application of the clubs curriculum and the broader undergraduate finance program at the Questrom School of Business. The BUFC Student Management Investment Funds investment philosophy focuses on pursuing investment opportunities in the Small-to-Mid Cap equity market. We define our initial investment universe as domestic equities with a market capitalization(s) between $500 million and $5 billion. The research approach is primarily targeted for bottom-up security selection, although members are first taught industry analysis before employing the clubs focus on fundamental security selection.
