Erode Builder Educational Trust (EBET) has been formed by a group of 65 like minded visionaries who are leaders in the field of construction and allied industries in and around Erode. They aim to provide quality education with strong ethical and moral values to the rural youth through a number of institutions and schools with high standards of academic excellence and for enriching lives by offering value based education. To realize their aim and to begin with, the Trust has started Builders Engineering College (Formerly Erode Builder Educational Trusts Group of Institutions) in the year 2009 comprising three faculties namely Faculty of Engineering (FoE), Faculty of Management (FoM) and Faculty of Computer Applications (FoC), as a Technical Campus from the academic year 2009-10. The campus, a sprawling one of nearly 24.72 acre, is located in EBET Knowledge Park at about 12 km from the town Kangeyam on Erode Palani state highway
