CAESER

The Center for Applied Earth Science and Engineering Research (CAESER) is a part of the Herff College of Engineering at the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. CAESER is committed to building smarter, stronger communities. We offer the tools and resources needed to improve public health and safety, as well as environmental and social conditions. We specialize in GIS, urban analytics, disaster resilience, water, and water education and outreach. CAESER is a research center created in 2015 when the former Ground Water Institute, which was founded in 1993, and the Center for Partnerships in GIS, merged.
