The Cafe del Mar brand is the most famous and prestigious in the area known as Beach Clubs and Chill Out music. Cafe del Mar was born in Ibiza, in a bar next to the San Antonio beach, famous for the choice of music it plays during the evening. Built on an idea from Ramon Guiral Broto, Carlos Andrea and Jose Les, and designed by the architect Lluis Guell, it was opened on 20 June 1980. The bar commercialised a simple idea: to enjoy evenings in the Calo Des Moro beach while listening to good music and having a drink. Since 1994, Cafe del Mar has released its own chill out, lounge, ambient, chill house and Balearic beats albums. The choice of music reflects the atmosphere of Ibiza. Currently, Cafe del Mar has a presence in many establishments around the world, and millions of people buy the music
