Because if farmers cant make a living growing coffee, theyll stop. And right now 80% of them arent earning enough to do basic things like feed their families and get medical help when theyre sick. Changing the way coffee is bought and sold is the only way to guarantee the future of our daily drink and of the people who make it. HOW WE DO IT. We put our growers first. We buy from them directly, pay them fairly, and invest in cooperatives so they get local support and training. Our growers also own shares in our business and sit on the Board so theyve got a direct say in how we run things and when we make a profit they do too. We respect the earth.
