California Ballet presents high quality professional ballet and dance performances through support of a resident company of professional dancers. CBC is San Diegos premier professional ballet company presenting classic and innovative dance productions in the renown San Diego Civic Theater. Led by Maxine Mahon who founded the company and Artistic Director Jared Nelson who has brought the company to new artistic heights, CBC is entering its 50th Anniversary season. Our amazing dancers will bring Billy Elliott (September 2017), Swan Lake (October 2017), The Great Gatsby (March 2018) and a San Diego holiday tradition, the Nutcracker (December 2017) to life this season. Our partnership with the San Diego Symphony completes our performances with beautiful accompaniment of live musicians.
