California Public Defenders Association

The overall goal of the association is to provide continuing legal education for its membership and to serve as a back up resource center for those in the practice of criminal defense law, thereby increasing the professionalism of the defender community. The organization provides 18 - 20 on-site continuing legal education training programs for local public defenders and private defenders throughout California on a yearly basis, with a total attendance of over 1800 per year.
