Cambridge Central Mosque is Europes 1st eco-friendly mosque and Cambridges first purpose-built mosque which opened its doors to the public on 24th April 2019. The facility is dedicated to the spiritual and social welfare of the citys estimated six thousand Muslims, including many visiting students, but also serves as a cultural bridge fostering greater understanding between communities. It has a strong educational component, providing an infrastructure and support for learning and research.
