Camp Robber

Camp Robber is located at 1515 Ogden Road, Montrose, CO and is known for creative restaurant cuisine and catering! Owners Bill and Kim Volk opened the Camp Robber in 1994 in downtown Montrose. The concept for this unique restaurant began many years earlier when the owners love of the mountains moved them from Albuquerque, NM to Colorado. While on many outings in the beautiful Colorado Mountains, they were visited by the Canadian Grey Jay, nicknamed the Camp Robber by miners. They are known for swooping down on campers and stealing food from picnic tables, or eating right out of your hands. By 2006, the restaurant had become so popular that a larger facility was necessary. Their current building was constructed to accommodate a private party room, known as the Aspen Room, a large outdoor patio, a beautiful bar known as the Robbers Roost, and a much larger dining room for their guests.
