Camp Wingate*Kirkland

Camp Wingate*Kirkland is a small, co-ed, overnight camp designed on six principles: community, tradition, trust, respect, choice and fun. Our program incorporates athletics, arts & crafts, swimming, boating, performing arts and community service while encouraging individuality and ensuring skill development. Campers design their own summer through daily choice. In the morning at Planning Session children learn about what is being offered on that particular day and then make their own activity selections. This offers children an empowering experience to discover who they are and follow their own passions and interests. Children feel an incredible sense of belonging and are encouraged to voice their opinions and feelings. After dinner the entire Camp community meets at Evening Forum to discuss what has occurred during the day.
