Canberra Rape Crisis Centre

The Canberra Rape Crisis Centre (CRCC) is a non-government, not for profit, Feminist organisation working to eliminate sexual violence in the ACT and surrounding regions. CRCC provides a crisis and counselling telephone support service between 7am-11pm (7 days a week) on 02 6247 2525. Additional services include ongoing counselling and group work for survivors of sexual violence, as well as their families and supporters, and a 24/7 advocacy service to police, forensic medical services, and the courts. CRCC encompasses a service dedicated to supporting male survivors (Service Assisting Male Survivors of Sexual Assault [SAMSSA]), and a dedicated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community service, Nguru, which provides crisis and counselling support for the impacts of recent and historical trauma.
