Capital Journal

The Capital Journal has been the official printed record of Hughes and Stanley counties since 1881 and currently has 10,750 daily readers. We publish Monday through Friday mornings, except Christmas Day and New Years Day. We are a dedicated group of newspaper professionals comprised of local journalists, press and production professionals, sales associates and news carriers, all committed to delivering a quality community newspaper to our readers each morning. We strive to provide the most up-to-date information available in the communities we serve. Each Wednesday, we also publish the Reminder Plus which has nearly 40,000 readers. This publication is available free of charge. In 2006, the Capital Journal went through a major redesign, including press upgrades and significant capital improvements, following its purchase by Wick Communications in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
