Capitol Hill Village

Capitol Hill Village (CHV) is a member-driven, volunteer-based organization that supports older adults who are aging-in-place in our community. With over 440 members -- and growing -- and over 250 volunteers, we engage with older adults to provide fun, knowledge, connection and growth, and a forum through which Village members can share interests and passions with others. We work with volunteers of all ages! We use both peer-to-peer and inter-generational program models to prevent social isolation, promote health, address inequities based on income, race, gender or sexual identity, and give elders the confidence they need to age-in-community on their own...

Offer any service members want with volunteers or with vetted vendors,if a volunteer is not available.,assist members with navigating the health care system,as needed.,and offer volunteer opportunities that connect neighbors to neighbors they may not know.
