Captains Educational Enrichment Fund

Purpose: To provide students with hands-on experience managing two real dollar financial portfolios and to serve as an outlet for students to engage in various research competitions. The CEE-Fund is both a student, and a registered 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to furthering the education offered at Christopher Newport University students, both personally and professionally. As of 2023, we are hovering around $400,000 of Assets Under Management, with the aim to achieve healthy portfolio growth within our risk tolerance. The CEE-Fund assets are divided between two portfolios, the Endowment Portfolio and the CEE-Fund portfolio. The CEE-Fund operates through three teams; the Finance team who handles portfolio management, the Investment team who manages portfolio construction, and the Operations team, who handles compliance, marketing, and outreach.
