Since 1915, at Caran dAche - a swiss family owned company we have perpetuated with passion the art of writing and drawing. In the long tradition of Swiss quality, we design, develop and manufacture our products - which proudly bear the Swiss made label - in our workshops in Geneva, Switzerland. We have developed precious knowledge combining expertise from almost 90 different crafts under the same roof. Our love for Fine Art is expressed through colour pencils, graphite pencils, pastels or gouache. They provide the utmost enjoyment for everyone - young and less young, budding and professional artists. As for the Fine Writing, our lines feature limited editions fountain pens, mechanical pencils and pens sculpted out of the finest of materials.
