Caregiver Help

Caregiver Help was founded by Elaine K Sanchez and Dr. Alex Sanchez. In 2007 she published the unflinchingly honest and uproariously funny book, Letters from Madelyn, Chronicles of a Caregiver. Elaine now speaks at caregiving conferences and to healthcare organizations across the United States. Her articles have appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines, and she hosts Caregiver Help Radio, a one-hour weekly radio show on WebTalkRadio.net. Dr. Alex Sanchez is a lifelong educator. He served as a community college president for 15 years. In 2012, he retired from his position as Professor of Education at Oregon State University where he taught a doctoral program in Community College Leadership. Alex cared for Amey, his first wife, through her terminal illness with lung cancer. When he and Elaine got married, he became her partner in caring for Madelyn and Quentin through the final years of their lives.
