Welcome to Carisbrooke Shipping. Carisbrooke Shipping owns / operates a fleet of 29 modern dry cargo and multi-purpose vessels from offices in Cowes (UK) and Rotterdam (NL). All key aspects of ship management are covered by the Carisbrooke Group, including chartering / operations, technical and safety management, crewing and financial administration. The vessels managed are modern, with an average age of around 12 years and excellent safety records, and the company has developed a fleet of fuel-efficient vessels over the past few years. The vessels trade worldwide and are operated by highly-trained, multinational crews. The focus of our first newbuild program back in the 1990s was the European 5,000 dwt coaster market, wherein we already had a presence servicing various trades between North Europe-UK to the Mediterranean and Black Sea, and vice-versa, carrying multiple commodities, but principally grain, fertilizers, coal and steels.
