Carlton Power Group is an independent, UK energy development company formed in 1995, with offices in Stokesley, North Yorkshire and Edinburgh. We have an excellent track record of developing gas-fired energy projects in the UK and Europe (we have delivered over 3.5 GW of high efficiency CCGTs), and in recent years our development activities have moved into green hydrogen, PV solar, and battery storage (Li-ion and CRYO). Our first phase of green hydrogen projects - at Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, at Trafford in Greater Manchester and Langage, near Plymouth - were successful in Round One of the UK Department of Energy Security & Net Zero Governments Hydrogen Allocation Round (HAR1 December 2023), and we are developing additional green hydrogen projects in other parts of the UK.
