Carmine Mining was registered in Zambia in 2001. It is a purely Zambian company and has no ownership ties to any external company or organization. The company was initially set up as a mining contracting and supply company with emphasis on the application of underground support systems. These included roof bolts; cable anchors; cement grouts, and various more advanced compounds. Carmine Mining is the agent in Zambia for Ictus Equipment of South Africa, a company involved in the manufacture and sale of several grouting products. In addition, the range of products is currently being expanded to include cement grouts with various admixtures to improve performance. This relationship with Ictus has extended to Carmine becoming the main anchor of ictus products in Zambia and DRC.
