The Small Grocer s store IIn the beginning, in 1932, it was just a small grocers store in Matosinhos belonging to Jose Moreira, whose speciality was simply roasting and selling coffee from Angola. It was therefore known as Casa do Cafe de Angola, later abbreviated to Casa Angola. Over the years, particularly in the 1950s and 1960s, it made the most of the new marketing opportunities made possible by the construction of the port of Leixoes and began operating as a shipchandler (ship supplier).
