The Centre for Clinical Trials, Research, and Implementation Science (CCTRIS) is a pioneer health research training and implementation institute that conducts high-quality clinical and behavioural research, training, networking and provides support to the clinical research community in the University of Lagos and other research institutes and Universities in Nigeria. We are geared towards investigating issues in population health and wellbeing from a globally acceptable perspective with local and sustainable impact in Nigeria, Africa and beyond. The team at CCTRIS is led by Professor Bosede Afolabi and is made up of members with a unique combination of academic and administrative capabilities aimed at building capacity in the conduct of high-quality clinical trials, the yet undeveloped area of implementation science research and all clinical research that is relevant to the Nigerian environment.
