CelebrateOne

CelebrateOne is a Collective Impact Agency focused on ensuring every baby lives to celebrate his or her first birthdayregardless of race, family income or zip code. Formed in 2014 to meet the recommendations of the Greater Columbus Infant Mortality Task Force, our organization has been guiding the work of neighborhood lead entities, non-profit resource partners and the greater community to reduce the infant mortality rate and close the racial health disparity gap. Eight neighborhoods in Columbus have infant mortality rates nearly three times higher than the county, state, and national averages. Our focused efforts to mitigate disparities in these communities include providing health workers or connectors who educate and support pregnant and new mothers. CelebrateOne brings partners together each month to collaborate on resources so moms and families can securely access maternity care, affordable housing, safe sleep environments, and other needs to ensure healthy babies
