Celtic Media Centre

With nearly 150,000 square feet of design-built stage space, almost 100,000 square feet of gated office space, and an additional 50,000 square feet of covered support space, Celtic Studios and Celtic Media Centre have the size and services to meet the demands of most any production. Located on 40 acres in the heart of Baton Rouge, Celtic is Louisianas flagship studio. Celtic Studios and Celtic Media Centre are part of the Celtic Group, a Baton Rouge-based company whose origins date back to 1985, when Irish native Brendan OConnor founded Celtic Marine Corporation. After 25 years in transportation logistics, OConnor saw the need for a real Louisiana motion picture studio facility in Louisiana, and in 2006 purchased the first piece of property that would become the Celtic Media Centre.
