Global thinking and local action have taken on a new meaning. How do we want to and how can we live and work in the future? At the Center for Advanced Studies, we use an interdisciplinary approach to analyze social, economic and political processes and look ahead to their impacts on the future. Our team combines expertise from political science, sociology, economics, socio-economics and philosophy. It consists of both specialists and generalists working closely together to inform and provide food for thought - in critical exchange and with different scientific methods. How can we make global and local value chains sustainable? How can we counteract climate change? Can we use the Corona crisis to prepare ourselves for coming crises?
