CIHVA is the 2nd busiest ambulance service in Suffolk County, NY. We receive over 5000 calls for medical assistance per year. CIHVA has been providing quality, caring & responsive pre-hospital emergency health care to the communities of Central Islip, Hauppauge, Village of Islandia, & the Hauppauge Industrial Park, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since 1955. Volunteer members are only asked to maintain a minimum of 6 hours of in-house duty each week.
