The Institution has a variety of benefits that allow the community to provide care in outpatient clinics and different treatment options in relation to kidney disease, high blood pressure and diabetes. In addition, institutional activities aimed at teaching, community health and medical research are developed. In 1988, CEREHA was born in the town of Sarandi as a Nephrology and Hemodialysis service within the Wilde Sanatorium, covering a care deficit in the South zone of Greater Buenos Aires. Due to the growing demand, as of December 1992, the Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (D.P.C.A.) program began, having for that purpose the adequate infrastructure according to law.
