CGCC was established in Baghdad, Iraq, in 2003, as a response to the need for a construction company highly-integrated with the international companies that began to get involved in the Iraqi market at the time. As a response to the rapid growth of the companys operations, CGCC decided to expand its activities to the UAE, which materialized in opening a new branch of the company in Dubai in 2005. In 2006, CGCC extended its operations to Sharjah, UAE. In 2007, the majority of CGCCs shareholders decided to take advantage of the dynamic business atmosphere in Ajman, UAE, and joined a new structure established and named HUNKO Building Contractor. Since then, CGCC teams have worked closely together to accomplish the most challenging projects with the highest standards of quality.
