Championship Books was founded in 1976 by Bill Bergan, the two-time NCAA Championship-winning head Track & Field and Cross Country coach at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa (retired in 95). The company was a true basement enterprise and Bergans wife Karen, long-time employee and family friend Margie, and Bergans four children all pitched in to get out orders on time and help the company grow from a basement business into a true corporation. We have grown every year since! Today, Championship Productions is headquartered in an entrepreneurial business park in Ames, Iowa and houses a staff of over 30 people in its 12,000 square foot office facilities. As Championship Productions sits almost perfectly situated in the center of North America, every order that is shipped is received in a timely fashion.
